LIV CARTLEDGE, DAN CULLY
& KATE MAHOOD
An intimate, grassroots, triple line up of quality live music in Nowa Nowa's quaint little hall.
Born and bred in Victoria’s High Country, Liv Cartledge is a singer-songwriter with a voice that growls and soars, she cuts through the noise. With raw, unfiltered storytelling - gritty, gut-punching reflections on home, loss, love, and grinning through the chaos - steeped in the warm, textured sounds of folk rock Australiana.
Dan Cully is an artist who draws on inspiration from the natural world, watching how life and nature move in an interconnected way. Themes of vast landscapes and fresh mountain streams inform the creation process of this music. His instrumental talent incorporates harmonica, didgeridoo, stomp box, guitar and soaring vocal melodies, giving his solo performance the power of a band. His sound can be likened to artists such as Xavier Rudd, John Butler.
Kate Mahood is a Queensland-based folk singer-songwriter whose music blends delicate folk stylings with the raw storytelling heart of country. With a voice that carries both tenderness and strength, Mahood’s songs explore vulnerability, resilience, and the quiet power of personal truth.
Renowned for her captivating live performances, Mahood has shared stages with artists such as Busby Marou, Harry Manx, The Whitlams and Alex Lloyd, and continues to appear regularly at festivals and events across the country.
